S.T.A.R.T. ;)

I went to San Fransisco high School to again teach my dearest students. :) Yehessss. I was curious why are they so quiet and behave? Haha. I later on found out that Janz gave them a 'sermon' that I, as their teacher is having a hard time understanding their naughty behavior and noise. So Janz is a good actor making me at ease to teach them that day. :)

Gusto niyo ba yun mangyari sainio? -- Janz. *CLAPS* for that! :D

Since majority of my class already received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour, I started teaching from the Discipleship Series, One2One book by Steve Murrell. I didn't begin with Lesson 1 which is Salvation 'cause I know it would be a very deep topic for them and I don't want to give them a hard time understanding the lesson which is not applicable, that wouldn't really encourage them. Am I right?

So I started with GETTING STARTED.
`Mark 1:17

The Five Steps that will get them of the right START as they follow Christ.

S Stop trusting in yourself and your won good works, and start trusting in Christ alone for Salvation
`Ephesians 2:8-9

T Turn away from everything the Bible calls sin.
`2 Timothy 2:19

A Attend a small group for personal discipleship and weekly worship services.
`Hebrews 10:25

R Read and obey the Bible everyday.
`Joshua 1:8

T Tell others about your new commitment to follow Christ.
`Romans 10:9-10

Wow. Very basic, Haha! And I also let them make their 'Personal Reaction' about the Youth Rally. I was really blessed on how God moved in the spirit. 'Cause my students really felt the urgency to repent and turn away from their sins and to follow God. :)

After the Class, I accompanied Janz to the agency beside Word of Hope. He tried to apply for a job there. And to different fast food chains. SM-- Jolibee. McDo. Tokyo Tokyo. Yellow Cab. KFC. Teriyaki Boy. Trinoma, Chowking and etc. He's looking for a job. Please pray for him. :( I really pity his situation even though I shouldn't 'cause I know God has good plans for him. But sometimes, I really can't help but to feel bad for him when I think about being on his shoes. But of course I admire him most of the time because for me he is really brave and his life would definitely make a good testimony to others. From a bad boy to a "church oriented and Bible-centered Christian" God really changed him a lot. And this is his story -- He needs to work just to send his self to college. I know it's hard 'cause he's only 17 and has no working experiences at all. He stopped schooling. Because no one would sent him to school. He graduated from high school and has this burden to go to college also. And I'm really praying that God will do great and mighty works upon the broken relationships among his broken family. And that God will help him share the Word upon his parents. Would you kindly pray for Janz? He really needs our spiritual support right now. Please help in prayers. Believe and don't doubt. :)

It's 11:55 PM and I'm still free to live for God

Acts 20:24 --
