We continued our lessons in
Economics and
History. And yes, finally I got the chance to attend our cell group. No to
Cheering Practices anymore! We, our cell group, namely
Ate Kat,
Ate Aimee,
Sharleen,
JULIET [it's her first time with us], and I went to
Chowking for lunch. Yes, we do take the gospel to the streets --
Morayta, I guess? Haha! Too bad,
Kuya Yohan's phone was broken and we cannot communicate with him. ;|
I ordered
Braised beef! We shared our blessings for the past weeks. Haha, of course I won't tell them about what's bothering me for the past week [Jeahpee matters] 'cause I know God is the only one who could understand why I'm so bothered. Haha. But still, I have many blessed stories to share despite my sleepless-cryful nights. Labo ko mehn! ;))
Ate Aimee shared this to encourage us. Ah-huh evangelizing in a big campus is way hard if you're not inspired by the promises of God from His word. So here it is. Make sure you read it word per word, 'cause, it will surely make a change on your life's perspective. If you think there's no hope among the people who keeps on ignoring you, this is for you. Change the pronouns 'HE' and 'HIM', to a 'SHE' and 'HER' if you're a girl. [Except for the HE and HIM pronouns that pertains to God Himself, haha!] Love it much! :)
ISAIAH 42
The Servant of the Lord
1 "Here is my servant, whom I uphold,
my chosen one in whom I delight;
I will put my Spirit on him
and he will bring justice to the nations.
2 He will not shout or cry out,
or raise his voice in the streets.
3 A bruised reed he will not break,
and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out.
In faithfulness he will bring forth justice;
4 he will not falter or be discouraged
till he establishes justice on earth.
In his law the islands will put their hope."
5 This is what God the LORD says—
he who created the heavens and stretched them out,
who spread out the earth and all that comes out of it,
who gives breath to its people,
and life to those who walk on it:
6 "I, the LORD, have called you in righteousness;
I will take hold of your hand.
I will keep you and will make you
to be a covenant for the people
and a light for the Gentiles,
7 to open eyes that are blind,
to free captives from prison
and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.
8 "I am the LORD; that is my name!
I will not give my glory to another
or my praise to idols.
9 See, the former things have taken place,
and new things I declare;
before they spring into being
I announce them to you."
Yah see? Very inspiring. As we prayed, ['cause it was quite long and loud, haha!] some Korean students from
FEU also are all looking at us. Wonder why, baka Christians din sila. I know lots of Koreans who are
YESU freaks because of my
Daddy being a Missionary before. [Yesu is Jesus in Korea.] Just always thank God for His words of promises, 'cause He will always be faithful. Yestarday, today, and forevermore! :)
Back to the campus.
Nat Sci. We watched something, a documentary from Discovery Channel about the Solar System, planets and the like. It's good though quite boring, inantok ako e. Haha! But I cannot sleep kahit madilim kasi we have to take down notes. After that, discussion about? Solar System again. Wee. Tsaka ko lang napansin,
EARTH SCIENCE na pala tine-take up namin. ;P
PE-- As expected, we had our individual practicum.
Prof. Alolor will give us 5 sets of
Basic Positions, and we have to show it to her. Ang baba ko.
84? Haha. I forgot the other positions. It's more confusing than
Axial and Locomotor Movements! As we [The boys and I] waited for our turn, laugh trip kami. Haha. Napagalitan tuloy. Tinawag pa ako ni Ma'am na
'paparazzi'. I was taking picture during
Carlo's turn. 'Yun 'yung pinagtatawanan naming mga lalaki. xD Hehe, then
Marvin and I isolated form the boys 'cause he told me something very private. Grabe ah. Fights are occurring in our block pala, I don't even have any idea 'bout that! Haha. We bonded. Invented a game? Is that even a game? Whatever! Haha. 'Cause what we did is this: We'll describe our block mates with just one word. Oha. Daming alam kasi. :p It was hard for me to describe isa isa yung block mates namin with just one word. I even suggested,
"Phrases na lang! Tae ka ang hirap!" Ahaha. He described me as
"Church-Oriented person" daw. I always been mistaken as a "Church-oriented person"
A BIG CORRECTION. I do serve INSIDE the church but I don't serve the church. Ok? I affirm that if only I can live my whole life inside the church, I would, but I'd definitely do it for God, not for the church.
Jeah: Weeh! Nakakainis ka na! Hindi nga church oriented!! Lagi mo na lang sinasabi 'yun!
Marvin: Hahaha, I know. What I mean to say is.. Nakakahawa pagka Kristiyano mo. You know what I mean..
Jeah: Ahh.. Really? *big grin*
Marvin: Haha, Oo. Sobra, you know what before ayaw ko makinig sa mga Godly conversations. I don't even want to be involved pero nung nakilala kita. Hahaha. Ok, ang cute mo!
Jeah: WEH!!! Hahahaha!
And then he asked me to describe him.
Jeah: Perfectionist!
Marvin: Ok, no need to explain. I agree *laughs out loud*
Marvin: Alam mo ba dati pinangarap ko maging MR. Perfect? To be the crush ng bayan?
Jeah: Hahahaha! As if. CAPITAL A-S-A!
Marvin: Ang sama mo naman, pero 'di nga, seryoso. Pinangarap ko maging hearthrob. But as you can see.... of what I am today.. Hahaha, Ok, nevermind! Moving on...
Jeah: HAHAHAAHAH!
[Super laugh tripping lang kami. But you know what?
Marvin is kinda choosy pag dating sa Church services, sa lahat ng ininvite ko sa block namin, siya lang talaga ang pinka matinding tumanggi. I know there will come a time na his heart will be soften by God. :) Wohoo!
I'm a certified CONTAGIOUS CHRISTIAN! Glory to God!! ]
Kapag kausap ko si
Marvin, hindi puede mag tagalog. Not that he's a foreign student a. Not a single evidence in his look at all, haha. Sadyang magaling lang siya mag-english. Nahahawa lang ako. Ok na nga. Hala, about
PE lang pala 'to ang haba na? Hahahaha!
I went straight home 'cause I'm not feeling well. :|
Kanina pala 'yung program talaga sa
GSI. I was planning kagabi na pumunta at mag-absent syempre, may pumigil. Haha. Siya na ngang pumigil, siya din nang-asar na wala ako napanuod. Haay. So ngayon I don't know kung ano nangyari sakaniya. I was texting him, kasi 'yun ang sabi niya e. 'Di naman nagrereply. Kagabi, Midnight ata, nagkachat kami. He want online, around
12:00 in the morning.
